When newly diagnosed, I bought enough books to fill a library. I gained strength from reading about how other people had triumphed over cancer, it was encouraging. As personal as it is, I wanted to pay it forward by sharing my own story… to pass on the wisdom I learned along the way.
You never know when you write a book and put yourself out there, how people are going to respond. At best, you hope your words will touch someone with the message of hope.
To the woman who is standing in the same shoes I found myself in six years ago… I have felt that moment of terror, I have experienced the uncertainty and despair that come with a cancer diagnosis. But I also know what if feels like on the other side of cancer:)
